About The Position

A day in the life You clock in, scan today’s production schedule, and hop on your lift. First stop: verifying the morning loads for accuracy so every pallet gets where it needs to go—on time and intact. You guide forklifts, hoists, lift beams with swivel-hooks, and elevated platforms with confident control, stacking and staging materials so the line never skips a beat. Along the way, you weigh, label, and document, keeping data clean and the flow precise. When something looks off, you spot it fast and report it through the right channel.

Requirements

  • Operate forklifts, hoists, lift beams with swivel-hooks, and elevated platforms using levers/controls to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
  • Check each product load for accuracy, then move it safely through the warehouse/facility to support timely, complete delivery.
  • Load and unload materials manually or with equipment from pallets, skids, platforms, vehicles, lifting devices, or other transport equipment.
  • Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes; secure materials/products and deliver them to designated areas.
  • Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
  • Follow the correct material order using FIFO to support inventory accuracy.
  • Forecast line needs and stage materials so the line has what it needs when it needs it, enabling smooth, uninterrupted production.
  • Continuously inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify the causes of errors, defects, or other problems, and report findings through the appropriate channels.
