About The Position
Charlotte Public Schools is seeking a full-time Interventionist Teacher at Charlotte Middle School, serving students in grades 6–8. The role assists in fostering student growth by providing intervention support to middle school students identified as eligible for additional services. The teacher should have strong curricular knowledge in English language arts and a clear understanding of appropriate interventions and accommodations. The position is wanted for the 2026–2027 school year.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
- Meet applicable highly qualified teacher standards under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, including its Final Regulations, and Michigan State Board of Education standards.
- Knowledge of state and federal mandate requirements that directly affect student programming.
- Strong curricular knowledge in English language arts.
- Clear understanding of appropriate interventions and accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in fostering student growth through intervention services for middle school students identified as eligible for additional support services.
