About The Position
This role involves providing high-quality interventional radiology services, assisting with complex procedures, and maintaining patient care standards within the department. The assignment is for 13 weeks, and it is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. A day shift is available with either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. Weekends are required only for on-call duties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Valid IL IEMA license is required.
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications are necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Travel experience is preferred.
- Experience in neuro procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing complex interventional radiology procedures, including thrombectomies, pulmonary embolism treatments, uterine fibroid embolizations (UFE), and Y90 radioembolization therapy.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Prepare and operate necessary equipment and ensure the availability of supplies for procedures.
