About The Position

The Interventional Radiology Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs interventional radiology (IR) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. This role is in a brand new, state-of-the-art IR department expansion launched in June 2024, utilizing the latest equipment for a wide range of procedures from small to complex treatments. This is an excellent opportunity to expand skills and advance a career.

Requirements

Must have Interventional Radiology experience.
Graduated from an Accredited Program.
IR Tech experience preferably in a BUSY lab.
BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer.
ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
Must be licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
Must be certified in one of the following within two (2) years of hire date: ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV).
All certifications must be AHA.

Neuro and Trauma experience preferred.
