Interventional Radiology Technologist
About The Position
Join the progressive BILH interventional radiology team as a primary scrub for cases. The department has two primary IR rooms and a Hybrid OR. Duties include setup, preparation, scrub assistance, and floating. Cases include peripheral vascular and visceral angiography, PTA, stenting, embolization, thrombolytic treatment, and Y-90, as well as nonvascular procedures such as biopsy, biliary, chest, drainage, gastric, nephro, tumor ablation, and vertebroplasty. The schedule includes days with a call rotation; four 10-hour shifts are available. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Maintain current A.R.R.T. Radiography (R) registration, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain a current Massachusetts state license, standards, and ethics.
- Pursue continuing education through department and hospital-wide programs, regional seminars, college courses, and advanced A.R.R.T. certification in Vascular Intervention (VI).
- Be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
