About The Position

The Interventional Radiology Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs interventional radiology (IR) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. This role is located at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, within the Interventional Radiology unit. The department recently underwent a state-of-the-art expansion, equipped with the latest technology to handle a wide range of procedures, from simple to complex treatments. This presents an excellent opportunity for skill expansion and career advancement.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an Accredited Program.
  • 1 year of IR Tech experience, preferably in a busy lab.
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) is required.
  • Must be licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • Must be certified in ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV) within two (2) years of hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • Neuro and Trauma experience preferred.
