We're seeking an Interventional Radiology RN to join our dedicated Radiology team, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care before, during, and after life-changing procedures.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or a Compact State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with: Moderate (conscious) sedation
- Patient prep and recovery
- IV insertion
- Perioperative nursing care
- Interventional Radiology experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Administer and monitor patients receiving moderate (conscious) sedation.
- Prepare and recover patients before and after procedures.
- Perform IV starts and provide perioperative nursing care.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve the best patient outcomes.
- Float to other procedural areas as needed to provide sedation support.
