About The Position

Saint Anthony Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and clinically skilled Interventional Radiology APP to join its advanced imaging and procedural team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment supporting a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The APP will partner closely with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and risk assessments
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care and patient education
• Assist in and perform image-guided procedures including: Central line placements, Paracentesis and thoracentesis, Biopsies and drain placements, Vascular access procedures, General Biopsies, Lumbar puncture
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage complications when necessary
• Interpret lab results and imaging findings in collaboration with radiologists
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
• Document care thoroughly in the EMR
• Communicate effectively with referring providers, nursing staff, and specialists
