About The Position

Alaska Radiology Associates (ARA) is seeking to add a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to its well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time, partnership track opportunity offering generous compensation and full benefits. The role involves a mix of Interventional Radiology (IR) weeks with IR call and diagnostic radiology, with options for both a full-time onsite role in Anchorage or a hybrid model working 26 weeks onsite with housing and car provided. ARA is Alaska’s largest private practice radiology group, providing comprehensive imaging and interventional services across the state.

Requirements

Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
Experience with Vascular, Biliary, Renal, Body and Interventional Oncology procedures
Experience with CT and US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy and Drains
Experience with Lumbar Puncture, Arthrogram injections, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Focus on Radiology as a service to patients and referring providers

Responsibilities

Perform Interventional Radiology procedures including Vascular, Biliary, Renal, Body, and Interventional Oncology.
Conduct general radiology procedures such as CT and US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy and Drains, Lumbar Puncture, Arthrogram injections, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis.
Provide diagnostic radiology services as assigned.
Participate in IR call rotation.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to diagnose and treat patients.
