The Interventional Radiology Division at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, is seeking subspecialty-trained Interventional Radiologists (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank) to join our rapidly expanding academic interventional radiology team in Morgantown, WV. This role offers excellent case volume and diversity, including advanced interventional procedures, collegial, multidisciplinary case consultations and clinic, and ample leadership opportunities in a department experiencing exciting growth and transformation. The position is part of a Level I Trauma Center and collaborates with robust surgery, surgical-oncology, urology, and gastroenterology/advanced endoscopy departments. It is also integrated with the WVU Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated cancer center, with plans for a new free-standing cancer center. The role involves CTA/MRA interpretation and working alongside a dedicated team of fellowship-trained interventional radiologists, surgeons/surgical oncologists, oncologists, urologists, gastroenterologists, and specialized technologists to provide integrated, collaborative, patient-centered care. The position is within the WVU Health System, the largest health system and private employer in West Virginia, comprising 25 hospitals and over 18,000 employees. J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is a 690+ bed academic medical center located on the WVU flagship campus in Morgantown, serving as a regional leader in tertiary and quaternary care.
