About The Position

We are seeking a BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join an established and expanding outpatient cardiovascular and interventional practice in Jacksonville, FL. This is a unique opportunity to build and expand an outpatient IR practice within an established, high-volume setting. You'll step into existing endovascular and embolization volume while having the opportunity to grow the IR program around your training, expertise, and clinical interests. No hospital work required. The incoming physician will have access to an established procedural base that includes complex peripheral vascular interventions, genicular artery embolization, prostate artery embolization, uterine artery embolization, hemorrhoidal artery embolization, and additional outpatient IR procedures based on training and interests. This position offers significant flexibility to develop additional procedures and expand the IR program. In addition to interventional procedures, responsibilities may include PET/CT interpretation/overreads, CT interpretation, primarily cardiac, Medical Director responsibilities related to imaging services, and maintaining applicable imaging accreditation. There is an opportunity to expand imaging services based on experience and interests.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular & Interventional Radiology
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Strong endovascular and interventional skills
• Ability to support PET/CT and CT interpretation responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform complex peripheral vascular interventions
• Perform genicular artery embolization
• Perform prostate artery embolization
• Perform uterine artery embolization
• Perform hemorrhoidal artery embolization
• Perform additional outpatient IR procedures based on training and interests
• Develop additional procedures and expand the IR program
• Perform PET/CT interpretation/overreads
• Perform CT interpretation, primarily cardiac
• Fulfill Medical Director responsibilities related to imaging services
• Maintain applicable imaging accreditation
• Expand imaging services based on experience and interests
