BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Advanced Modality at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Interventional Radiology Mallinckrodt Dept. This role involves working independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures, preparing patients and equipment for procedures while assisting the radiologist, and performing image post processing and circulating procedures. Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)

Responsibilities

  • Work independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while assisting the radiologist
  • Perform image post processing and circulating procedures
  • Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
  • Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
