Interventional Procedures Tech - Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology
About The Position
Perform a variety of technical and clinical duties which require independent judgment to function as an integrated part of the laboratory team of technicians, nurses and physicians performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures. Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic waveform and provide detailed documentation during routine and complex cardiology procedures. Provide monitoring, during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest. Interpret EKG rhythm disorder and hemodynamic abnormalities. Become familiar with EKG and hemodynamic waveform recognition. Maintain responsibility for proper patient records and procedure logs. Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT
- IEMA
- BLS (issued by the American Heart Association)
- 2-year degree in an allied health field from an accredited school or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- RCIS
- ACLS within 1 year
- Previous Cath Lab experience highly preferred
- Self-motivation
