Interventional Pain Management Physician
About The Position
Peninsula Pain Clinic, part of Sound Pain Alliance, is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing team in beautiful Kitsap County, Washington. We are a comprehensive pain management practice providing both medication management and interventional pain procedures. Our team includes physicians, PAs, and ARNPs who work collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Our procedures are performed in-office with fluoroscopy at our Silverdale location and at a freestanding multispecialty ASC in Poulsbo. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys a private-practice environment, values teamwork, and wants to build a long-term career within an established and growing practice.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Current Washington State medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Active DEA registration
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality pain management
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Obtain and review medical histories, physical examinations, diagnostic studies, and medical records
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing medication management and interventional procedures
- Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic injections and other interventional pain procedures
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies, including urine drug screens
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and wellness
- Monitor treatment outcomes and provide continuity of care
- Collaborate with PAs, ARNPs, and other healthcare professionals
- Coordinate care with specialists when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Follow applicable federal, state, and professional regulations and standards
- Participate as an active member of a collaborative clinical team
