About The Position
Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our high performing Interventional Endoscopy team. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with call responsibilities. This role offers diverse clinical exposure through close collaboration with multiple specialties, including Gastroenterology, Oncology/Cancer Services, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgical Services. Candidates must be Board Certified with a NYS License. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
- Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
- Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
- Familiar with EHR/EMR software.
- Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
- Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities
- Help run and optimize a strong and established direct to procedure program
- Assist with consults
- Round on patients and write notes
- Answer triage calls and pages
- Perform follow-up visits as medically indicated
- Attend departmental meetings
