This role is responsible for creating and executing strategic, sales-focused business plans for an assigned territory to drive sales and exceed revenue targets. The representative will manage the entire selling process, from initial contact to closing the sale, and provide in-office product evaluations. Key activities include identifying and building relationships with potential and existing customers, negotiating pricing, utilizing clinical data in customer interactions, and accurately entering customer data and forecasts into the CRM. The role also involves implementing marketing plans, conducting business reviews, supporting market access initiatives, attending conferences, and staying updated on dry eye technologies and trends. Maintaining regulatory compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and other applicable requirements is crucial. The representative will also act as a leader within the team, providing mentorship, coaching, and on-the-job training to other sales representatives, and partnering with internal stakeholders to inform strategy and program development.
