About The Position

Pulse Heart Institute, part of MultiCare, is a physician-led institute with partnerships across cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Its programs provide cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care, including complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging.

The Cardiovascular Technologist provides technical support during diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. The role supports quality care and patient and family comfort and well-being. This position is 0.75 FTE, on day shift, with 10-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, certification as a cardiovascular invasive specialist, or current enrollment in the second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist or Radiologic Technologist program.
• RCIS certification or commitment to obtain it within six months of employment.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire; applies to CapMC locations.
• For CapMC locations, RCIS or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification within two years of employment.
• At least one year of applicable experience is required to qualify for bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room.
• Perform required Cath Lab-specific documentation.
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.
