About The Position
MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led, multispecialty institute partnering across cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular services. Its programs provide cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care, including complex structural heart interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging technologies. The Cardiovascular Technologist provides technical support during diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. The role supports quality care with attention to the comfort and well-being of patients and families. The position is 0.75 FTE on day shift, with 10-hour shifts. At least one year of applicable experience is required to qualify for bonuses. Requirements
- Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, certification as a cardiovascular invasive specialist, or current enrollment in the second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist or Radiologic Technologist program.
- RCIS certification or commitment to obtain it within six months of employment.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at the time of hire.
- At CapMC locations, RCIS or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification within two years of employment.

Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room.
- Complete required Cath Lab-specific documentation.
- Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.
