About The Position

University of Michigan Health – Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan, is seeking a dynamic Board-Certified/Board-Eligible interventional cardiologist to join their Heart and Vascular team. U-M Sparrow Hospital and Heart and Vascular are recognized as regional leaders in exceptional heart and vascular care. This is an opportunity to join a well-established group with over 50 years of history. The position is hospital-employed and offers a Monday-Friday schedule with a rotation for weekend coverage (8-10 weekends annually) and weekday call (29-35 annually). The role involves adult outpatient and inpatient patient populations, with clinic assignments varying based on service and diagnostic testing coverage. The facility boasts IAC accredited Nuclear, Echo, and Vascular labs, and offers services such as Stress Testing, Holter, Event monitoring, EECP, and Implantable Loop Recorders. The cardiology group is comprehensive, including 24 Cardiologists, 14 non-interventional cardiologists, 5 interventional cardiologists, 5 electrophysiologists, and 15 Advanced Practice Providers. The group also supports a strong structural heart program, vascular program, extensive research, and a fellowship program. Services are provided across 7 locations with one hospital Cath Lab. The position is located in a Big Ten University city and utilizes the EPIC EMR system.
