Interventional/Cardiac Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
About The Position

This position may close without notice once a sufficient number of qualified applications is received. The incumbent in this class is on-call based on the 24-hour hospital’s business needs. Assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid. Performs diagnostic exams on patients in the specialized areas of interventional radiology. Assists with diagnostic angiography, neuro- interventional, and other invasive procedures.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program for Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Registered in Radiography.
- OR Graduate from an accredited registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program and two (2) years of experience in a cardiac Cath lab for RCIS-certified individuals.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- For those assigned in Special Procedure/Interventional Radiology Lab - State of Nevada License in Radiology and valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Registered in Radiography.
- For those assigned in Cardiac Cath Lab - State of Nevada License in Radiology and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARRT.
