The Intervention Teacher is responsible for working with staff as an “in-house” resource to provide education intervention and directed instruction for students with additional academic needs that are not addressed in the traditional classroom setting. Typically, intervention is required in core content areas of Math, Science and Reading. The Intervention Teacher works within an elementary or secondary school and cannot be the primary teacher of record.
