Intervention Specialist provides an educational program for students as defined in the student's Individualized Education Program (I.E.P.). This role involves participating as a collaborative team member in intervention planning, multifactored evaluations, and reevaluations for students within required timelines. The Intervention Specialist will coordinate the development and continuous monitoring of Individual Educational Plans for students with disabilities to ensure appropriate services and supplemental aides and supports are provided in the least restrictive environment within required timelines consistent with The Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities. They will implement educational interventions and specially designed instruction, adapting content, methodology, or delivery of instruction as appropriate to address unique student needs. The role also includes designing and implementing meaningful parent involvement activities where parents are equal partners, and performing other duties as assigned by the Principal/Manager or their designee.
