About The Position

The Intervention Program Technician at William H. Frazier will be responsible for sophisticated data collection and dissemination for "In Danger of Retention," and "Tutorial" programs. This role assists in assessment to determine student placement within small groups and tutorials, supports instructional personnel in developing and presenting learning materials and exercises, and works with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning activities. The position requires a friendly, efficient, and professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
  • An Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification
  • Experience working with people of various cultures
  • One (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, supplemented by courses in childcare, supervision, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities
  • Bilingual preferred
  • NCLB Compliance - Proof of degree/transcripts (if applicable)
  • Resume
  • Letter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from the most recent employer)
  • Mandatory written test for this Classification on August 28, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
