About The Position

Platte River Power Authority is seeking interns to gain real-world experience, build their resumes, and work alongside industry professionals. Interns at Platte River contribute to meaningful projects, tackle real challenges, and gain hands-on experience that connects directly to their coursework. This is an opportunity for individuals interested in engineering, technology, business, environmental sciences, communications, or other career fields.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (recent graduates may also be considered)
• Meet any specific academic requirements for certain internships (some opportunities prefer junior or senior standing)
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Platte River Power Authority is unable to provide employment sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B visa or OPT sponsorship.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Platte River cannot provide employment to applicants who will require sponsorship now or in the future (i.e. H1B visa, OPT status).
