Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, the implementation, structuring, and improvement of project management practices within the organization.
  • Participate in establishing the Project Management Office (PMO) by supporting various structuring initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and updating of project management processes, methodologies, policies, and tools.
  • Prepare and maintain PMO documentation (templates, guides, procedures, dashboards, and registers).
  • Produce key performance indicators (KPIs), progress reports, and dashboards for management.
  • Contribute to document management activities and ensure the quality of information maintained within PMO tools.
  • Collaborate on the implementation and improvement of technology tools used for portfolio and project management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing organizational maturity in project management.
  • Collaborate with project managers, initiative leads, and various business units to ensure the quality and consistency of information submitted to the PMO.
