About The Position

This internship focuses on supporting Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) in staying at the forefront of Model-based Definition (MBD) and Computer-aided Design (CAD) practices. The intern will contribute to the update and implementation of MBD, current CAD methods, documentation, and validation processes. The role offers numerous challenges and opportunities to develop project management, analysis, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
• Engineering, or Operations background or interest.
• Experience in 3D modeling is mandatory.
• Must be resourceful with good analytical thinking and a team player.

Nice To Haves

• CATIA V5 (or similar software) is a strong asset.
• Understanding of MBD/PLM is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review & Update existing CAD methodologies using CATIA and various other CAx tools.
• Research & Document new process and procedures.
• Facilitate organization of the CATIA trainings.
• Review & Update training material.
• Data Exchange audit - New eyes on transfer log.
• Other CAD/Collaboration assistance as requested.
