About The Position

Oak Hill Advisors (OHA) is seeking students graduating in Spring 2029 to explore our Summer 2028 Internship Program. This 10-week program offers hands-on experience, significant responsibilities, and direct exposure to investment professionals and senior leaders at a premier alternative credit investment firm. The program is tentatively scheduled from June 2nd to August 8th, 2028. The internship begins with a week of intensive financial training by Training the Street, covering accounting, credit, valuation, and financial markets. Following training, interns are embedded in their assigned teams for nine weeks, working on real projects with investment and business professionals. Interns will participate in technical and market-focused learning sessions, educational programming, speaker series with senior leaders, networking opportunities, and volunteer events.

Requirements

  • Students graduating in Spring 2029.
  • Interest in credit investing or investor relations.

  • Interested in exploring a career in alternative investments.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate companies, industries, and investment opportunities within assigned industry verticals (for U.S. Credit Investing).
  • Develop an understanding of investment decision-making processes within an alternative credit platform (for U.S. Credit Investing).
  • Support fundraising initiatives (for Investor Relations).
  • Assist with investor communications (for Investor Relations).
  • Contribute to market and portfolio reporting (for Investor Relations).
  • Conduct competitive intelligence research (for Investor Relations).
  • Support strategic projects for business growth (for Investor Relations).
