About The Position

This internship focuses on Information Security within the IT department. The intern will assist in maintaining and improving the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to recognized standards and best practices. Key activities include supporting cyber security risk management, documenting security processes, assisting with security assessments of vendors and systems, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and managed security providers to ensure the company's security.

Requirements

• Passionate about cyber security, with a strong interest in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
• Familiar with IT networks and infrastructure, including how systems, identities, and data interact.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing your own work.
• Eager to learn and build a career in cyber security.
• Currently enrolled in an HBO, Bachelor's, or Master's program in cyber security or a related field, with at least the first semesters completed.
• Available for 5 months starting in February 2026.
• Enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship.
• Must be an EU citizen, on a Family/Partner visa, or a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands who meets specific curriculum or university agreement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and improve Hunkemöller's Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with recognized standards and best practices.
• Support cyber security risk management by identifying, assessing, and tracking risks.
• Document security processes, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and auditable ways of working.
• Assist with security assessments of vendors, tools, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support cyber security objectives.
• Work with our managed security providers to help keep Hunkemöller secure.
