The Pratt & Whitney's (PW) Global Trade (GT) team helps the business move products, software, and technical data around the world—securely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international trade regulations. As an intern with the PW Global Trade Digital Technology / Global Trade (DT/GT) and Automated Export Compliance Systems (AECS) team, you'll work at the intersection of business, technology, and global operations. Your work will directly support the digital systems that enable compliant global trade import/export across Pratt & Whitney's worldwide operations.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Law.
  • Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
  • Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of the employment offer.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge repository for Global Trade digital requirements, design decisions, and guidance across key technology initiatives, including system acquisition, design, hosting, migration, and retirement.
  • Develop and enhance Confluence content, including Global Trade System Overview Cards for major enterprise platforms such as ERP, PLM, MES, and CRM.
  • Create Power BI dashboards that provide visibility into system landscapes, key metrics around DT/GT Reviews volume, and compliance insights.
  • Document team processes, workflows, and best practices to improve knowledge sharing, onboarding, and long-term continuity.
