About The Position

ASML US develops and services lithography machines that enable leading chipmakers to produce smaller, more powerful microchips. The Customer Support (CS) organization installs, qualifies, repairs, and maintains ASML systems at customer sites and transfers relevant know-how to customers. This internship is within the EUV UIR (Upgrades, Installs, and Relocation) team, which works with local Customer Support branches to perform these activities for customers in its region. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and leaders to learn ASML’s ways of working and technology. Projects will be tailored to the intern’s education, experience, and learning objectives. Interns typically document and present their findings, including an end-of-summer presentation to the group. Example projects include documenting goals and KPIs, evaluating processes and updating documentation using continuous-improvement methodologies, creating data visualizations to identify automation opportunities, collaborating with engineers to identify Best Known Methods, and participating in projects to improve fab performance.
