Requirements

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset, curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program with a STEM focus, preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Interest in engineering, maintenance, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting.
  • Programming knowledge and proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions in a dynamic operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge or experience in control systems, robotics, maintenance, mechanical systems, or electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and engineering teams while developing a practical understanding of terminal equipment and asset management processes.
  • Assist with maintenance management activities and initiatives that improve equipment and system performance.
  • Support preventive maintenance processes, equipment inspections, troubleshooting activities, and safety practices.
  • Help review and improve routine maintenance and repair checklists.
  • Assist with data entry, maintenance shift reports, equipment records, and maintenance software updates.
  • Gain basic mechanical, electrical, and automation principles while supporting daily operations.
  • Participate in equipment troubleshooting efforts and help identify opportunities to reduce repetitive breakdowns and improve reliability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects, safety initiatives, and other assigned learning projects.
