About The Position

Infineon is seeking interns to create tiny chips and big careers. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate on the design and optimization of a hybrid customer journey for Digital Security and Identity (DSI) products. The goal is to deliver superior, personalized experiences while strengthening go-to-market capabilities to scale customer acquisition efficiently. Interns will map and analyze existing identity workflows, constraints of the security IC business, and handoffs to identify gaps and prioritize improvements. They will also engage with product, operations, and external stakeholders to validate requirements and proposed journey changes. Additionally, interns will assist with privacy and compliance activities, identify areas for improvement in customer satisfaction and team effectiveness, build scripts to automate repetitive tasks, integrate and validate end-to-end flows, execute basic security and interoperability tests, and produce documentation and demos.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Comfortable with scripting in Python, JavaScript or Bash for automation and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML and token-based flows.
  • Experience using Git and basic familiarity with REST APIs, JSON and HTTP concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms.
  • Hungry, energetic self-starter with strong communication skills, ownership mindset and ability to propose practical ideas.
  • Awareness of privacy and security best practices with willingness to learn regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the design and optimization of a hybrid customer journey for DSI products.
  • Map and analyze existing identity workflows, constraints of the security IC business and handoffs to identify gaps and prioritize improvements.
  • Collaborate with product, operations and external stakeholders to validate requirements and proposed journey changes.
  • Assist with privacy and compliance activities including data minimization, consent tracking and documentation while maintaining privacy and security.
  • Identify areas where an hybrid customer journey would improve customer satisfaction and/or team’s effectiveness.
  • Build scripts and small tools to automate repetitive tasks, workflows and provisioning.
  • Integrate and validate end-to-end flows in staging environments.
  • Execute basic security and interoperability tests, collect logs, triage issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
  • Produce runbooks, design notes, test results and stakeholder ready demos and presentations.
