About The Position
This internship focuses on supporting and assisting designers in the development of swimwear collections. The intern will gain an understanding of the entire collection development process, from trend presentation to the final product in stores. Key tasks include preparing technical drawings, developing color cards, and assisting with daily departmental tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Currently studying Design (HBO/Bachelors/Masters) for example at AMFI, Artemis, HTW Hamburg, UDK Berlin, De Montfort university or similar
- Fluent in English - speaking and writing
- Working experience of Illustrator, Photoshop and ideally In Design
- Good eye for color and print
- Love fashion and be highly creative
- Willing to help the team and can stay stress-free whilst working to deadlines
- Must be enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship
- Must be available for 5 months starting in September 2026
- Must be an EU citizen, on a Family/Partner visa, or a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands and meet specific curriculum or university agreement requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Clo 3D is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Support and assist the designers in the development of the collections
- Understand the overall development of a collection; from trend presentation to the final products in stores
- Preparation of detailed technical drawings in Illustrator
- Development of color cards
- Assisting with the daily tasks of the department to make sure everything runs smoothly
