About The Position

This is a one-year internship position affiliated with a Mindray office in France, in Créteil, and involves frequent travels across North of France. Reporting to the Clinical Application Manager Ultrasound and Sales and Marketing Manager, this role is for a passionate and energetic biomedical/application engineering student to develop their knowledge and learn to become a clinical expert. The intern will work hand in hand with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, playing a key role in the successful delivery of technical training and expertise, generating business growth across France. Working in hospitals, the intern will be involved in testing, installation and training, with the main aim of ensuring that customers are confident and competent in the use of Mindray products.

Requirements

  • Biomedical studies and marketing/economics.
  • Experience of working independently and project organization skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Ability to work in France without the need for company sponsorship.
  • Strong communication skills and natural curiosity.
  • Analytical skills, preferably in the clinical field.
  • Proven presentation skills, with strong influencing and persuasive powers to communicate ideas with conviction.
  • High mobility during the working week.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an information point for customers to get the most value from Mindray products.
  • Liaising with hospitals to organize and manage clinical assessments, facilities and post-sales clinical support.
  • Act as the product expert for customers and train them in the effective use of our products.
  • Advising clients on workflow design according to the clinical context (intensive care units, operating theatres, emergency departments, etc.)
  • Work with clients to define clinical configurations for safe and appropriate use.
  • Identify and communicate internally the company's growth opportunities.
  • Work with the regional account manager to generate profitable sales of Mindray devices.
  • Communicate at all levels, adapting the content to the audience concerned to ensure that the training is well understood.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to effectively plan and execute projects on time and in line with client expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical, technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Contribute to the design and development of product resources such as user guides, competency frameworks and training presentations.
  • Manage and maintain training records.
  • Communicate with the clinical and marketing managers to feedback information from the field (products, competition etc…)
