About The Position
Seeking an Internist for locum tenens coverage in Lancaster, CA. This is a clinical-only role in an outpatient clinic setting, providing comprehensive primary care to adult patients. The coverage period is from September 21, 2026, to December 21, 2026. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility. The facility uses Epic EMR. This position is to cover maternity leave.
Requirements
- Active CA license
- BC required
- CA DEA required
- BLS certification
- Will consider new grads board certified

- Prefers 2+ years experience
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Manage chronic and acute conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Conduct routine physical examinations and health screenings.
- Coordinate care with support staff (MAs, LVNs) to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR and maintain accurate medical records.
