About The Position

The International Trade Compliance Sr. Coordinator will provide support to the International Trade manager/supervisor, supporting to provide strategic leadership in the management of PVH’s Compliance audit operations programs, including Special Trade Programs (FTA, Duty Deduction’s for air and ocean shipments, First Sale etc). The individual is responsible for oversight of the accuracy of import/export documentation submitted by PVH suppliers, including brokers on PVH’s behalf. Duties will also include the improvement of processes, auditing policy compliance, tracking effectiveness of current policies, coordination external brokers, and coordinating with Customs or other government officials.

Requirements

  • Improvement of processes, auditing policy compliance, tracking effectiveness of current policies, coordination external brokers, and coordinating with Customs or other government officials.
  • Ensure timely submission to U.S. Customs and associated tracking through final closure.
  • Conduct periodic audits consistent with company policy to determine to ensure customs entry accuracy, timely closure of post-entry corrections, and completeness of all record-keeping requirements.
  • Oversee entry issues and requirements for proper declaration to CBP and CBSA.
  • Interaction with our 3rd party providers to ensure they are sending accurate data, in order for our Customs Broker to file an accurate customer entries.
  • Review and identify Customs compliance issues, and any other import process issues.
  • Oversee internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign regulations.
  • Supports operational processes for assuring trade compliance through gate reviews for export and import shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, monitor and help resolve all post entry activity in accordance with PVH customs compliance standards, regulatory requirements and ensure timely submission to U.S. Customs and associated tracking through final closure.
