About The Position

A global industrial manufacturer is adding an International Tax Operations Supervisor to its corporate finance team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You'll sit at the intersection of quarterly ASC 740 provision work and annual U.S. international compliance, owning complex modeling while serving as the senior technical reviewer for work product coming out of the company's overseas shared services group. This is a natural landing spot for a Big 4 Senior or Manager — or a senior analyst inside a large multinational — who wants a defined leadership track without the public accounting hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in accounting
  • CPA license or a Master's in Taxation
  • 3–6 years of hands-on U.S. international tax experience in Big 4 or a large multinational
  • Direct experience calculating or reviewing ASC 740 international provisions and IRS foreign reporting forms
  • Advanced Excel
  • Working knowledge of CorpTax

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to SAP ERP and SAP BPC
  • Comfort collaborating across time zones with a distributed team
  • Experience with Alteryx or similar automation platforms

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review quarterly U.S. international provision calculations supporting SEC reporting — GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, and 245A DRD
  • Review U.S. international returns and foreign entity disclosures, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, and 8993
  • Act as day-to-day technical reviewer, mentor, and primary point of contact for international tax staff based offshore
  • Track foreign distribution impacts, previously taxed and untaxed E&P, tax basis, 163(j) limitations, and uncertain tax positions under FIN 48
  • Research and model the tax impact of M&A activity and recent federal tax legislation
  • Streamline recurring workflows using Excel, CorpTax, SAP, and automation tooling
