About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an International Strategy and Programs Manager to join their team in Arlington, Virginia. This role will lead the execution, alignment to business and giving strategy, and implementation oversight of all Boeing Global Engagement charitable investments and employee involvement outside the United States. The position manages coordination with a global team of community investors to implement Boeing’s charitable giving strategies and processes in over 40 countries. The selected candidate will advise leadership on all enterprise international disaster response actions, including employee assistance, and will serve as the staff subject matter expert on the international implications of Employee Engagement strategy, policy, and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience developing and implementing a charitable giving strategy
  • Experience partnering with senior and executive leadership
  • 5+ years' experience creating executive level presentations using Word, Power Point and Excel
  • 5+ years' experience leading assessment and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues amongst multiple global stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years' experience working with non-profit organizations and/or at community engagements
  • 5+ years' experience funding nonprofits and managing charitable grants
  • 5+ years' experience working on grassroots advocacy programs on behalf of industry or specific programs and/or legislation
  • 5+ years' experience with skill-based volunteering
  • 5+ years’ experience in international institutional charitable giving, preferably as a corporate donor
  • Strong financial analysis expertise, ideally experienced in analysis of international / non-GAAP standard financial statements.
  • MBA or M.Acc. strongly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of laws, compliance requirements, and regulations involved in overseas charitable giving, particularly the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and IRS requirements for foundations and trusts

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates employees in developing corporate citizenship strategies and community relationships across the global portfolio, including the analysis of community needs and development/implementation of investment plans consistent with company objectives.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans and guides the development of charitable giving plans and goals.
  • Provides technical management of grants across the global portfolio and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Collaborates closely with global grant portfolio focals.
