About The Position

National Presto Industries is seeking a driven and motivated International Sourcing & Procurement Manager to oversee and execute the end-to-end sourcing and supplier management process for international supplies. In this role, you will identify and evaluate suppliers, lead RFQs, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, monitor commodity markets, and support long-term supplier partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
• Experience negotiating directly with overseas suppliers
• Exposure to commodity markets or raw material cost drivers
• Previous international business travel experience
• Ability to operate effectively in a small, lean organization
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of cost analysis and landed cost modeling
• Ability to travel internationally as needed

Nice To Haves

• International experience is preferred
• China and Southeastern Asia is preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier capability assessments (cost, capacity, quality systems, technical capability)
• Prepare and issue RFQs in coordination with Engineering and Quality
• Analyze quotations including cost structure, tooling, MOQs, freight, and risk
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and agreements
• Support business award recommendations to management
• Maintain ongoing supplier communication and performance accountability
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
• Monitor global commodity markets (aluminum, copper, steel) and foreign exchange trends
