About The Position

The International Sales Manager is responsible for managing and executing global sales activities for Package Boiler, and Lincoln Division products and services in all countries outside the United States and Canada. This position oversees and the international representative and distributor network, provides technical and commercial support, and contributes to market development, forecasting, and strategic planning. Responsibilities include proposal preparation, order processing, and ongoing product support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in the boiler or boiler‑related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in decision‑making, problem‑solving, and relationship management.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and international customers.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a global business environment.
  • Limited manual dexterity required.
  • Work involves minimal physical effort.
  • International travel required (20%–60%).
  • Travel primarily by air and rental vehicle; must be able to manage typical business travel logistics.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and required entry visas.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage international sales activities under the direction of the Senior VP of Sales.
  • Apply sound judgment, analytical skills, and management capabilities to achieve established sales objectives.
  • Maintain thorough and current knowledge of company products and applications.
  • Exercise consistent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills in support of sales initiatives.
  • Assess and report on market conditions, competitive activity, and economic trends.
  • Prepare annual and periodic export sales forecasts.
  • Participate in determining market potential and developing sales expense budgets.
  • Serve as primary contact for international representatives and distributors.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and negotiate agreements with representatives and distribution partners.
  • Assist in negotiating licensing arrangements with foreign manufacturers as needed.
  • Maintain regular contact with major accounts within assigned regions.
  • Support customer service activities to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Promote company products and services at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Work with sales and marketing leadership to develop marketing policies, product line recommendations, and pricing adjustments.
  • Assist sales support, marketing, and training personnel in planning and executing special projects, promotions, and market research initiatives.
  • Provide proposal development, order processing, and general product support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Direct supervision of the Sales Manager for Latin America.
