Job Overview: The International Sales Associate II provides operational and administrative support to the International Sales team by coordinating activities with international distributors, channel partners, and customers. This role supports daily sales operations through effective communication, customer service, order and quotation management, and cross-functional coordination. This role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in innovative technologies and new product offerings, and will be comfortable supporting a fast-paced, evolving business. This position reports directly to the International Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a closely related scientific field.
  • At least two years of experience in international sales or distributor sales.
  • Can effectively communicate and understand technical and scientific product-related information.
  • Adaptable to changing processes, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and a strong customer-centric mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of laboratory experience in a relevant life-science field (biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.) a plus
  • Previous experience using a CRM or ERP system, preferably NetSuite a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for international distributors, channel partners, and customers providing responsive support and managing day-to-day communications via email and phone.
  • Independently prepare and manage sales quotations for international distributors, channel partners, and customers, delivering accurate and responsive proposal support to facilitate the sales process and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work cross-functionally with Ordering/Shipping, Marketing, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, and other departments to facilitate issue resolution, support distributor relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of exceptional service for international customers.
  • Supply technical documents (COOs, MSDS, COAs), international trade documentation, product literature, customer leads and other support materials to assist distributors in achieving their regional market objectives.
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support long-term customer relationships.
