About The Position

The Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) Program is seeking an experienced International Program Manager to lead the execution of international programs and building customer relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for managing international program activities across the full lifecycle, coordinating execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, business development, and customer organizations, and ensuring program commitments are met on schedule and within established cost and performance objectives. You will serve as a key interface with international customers and partners, providing clear communication, resolving complex program issues, identifying and mitigating risks, and driving cross-functional teams toward successful program outcomes. This position requires strong program leadership, international customer management, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex, multi-organizational environment. This is an onsite position at our Louisville, KY facility. Relocation assistance is available based on eligibility.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7years’ experience
  • Prior experience in program/project management
  • Prior leadership/management experience
  • PM Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain Certification within a year.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage international programs, ensuring alignment with both program and company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for global projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the execution of project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders, customers, and partners through significant international visits.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
  • Ability to travel internationally, as required.
