This role is for Foreign Pharmacy Graduates from Non-US Accredited colleges or schools of pharmacy who are looking to complete their required US Internship hours and prepare for a Pharmacist role. The program immerses participants in a culture of continuous improvement to transform healthcare. As a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate, after passing FPGEE and TOEFL, you will gain hands-on experience, apply didactic learning, and develop knowledge, skills, and abilities under the direction of a preceptor. The goal is to prepare you for Pharmacist licensure exams and practice within 18 months for the internship and 120 days post-internship for licensure. You will learn about pharmacy practice, patient care, business acumen, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacy team with operations, ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, providing caring service, operating according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), demonstrating empathy, and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture. Specific duties involve following SOPs at workstations, adhering to pharmacy workflow procedures, contributing to positive patient experiences, offering counseling, taking telephonic prescriptions, maintaining self-awareness, providing coaching, completing inventory activities, contributing to a high-performing team, remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations. The role may also support immunizations after completing additional training and licensure.
