About The Position

We are seeking an International Order Management Specialist to become the primary point of contact for our global distributor network. This position plays a critical role in ensuring international orders are processed accurately; shipments move efficiently across the globe, and export documentation meets all compliance requirements. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in international order management, export coordination, or international logistics
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Strong understanding of international shipping documentation
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Letters of Credit
  • Knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations
  • Experience filing AES/EEI
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  • Second language skills (Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Mandarin)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete international order process from purchase order through final delivery.
  • Process international customer orders accurately within our ERP system
  • Review purchase orders for pricing, quantities, shipping instructions, and accuracy
  • Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Communicate order status and shipment updates with international distributors
  • Manage backorders, order revisions, and partial shipments
  • Obtain international freight quotations and select cost-effective shipping methods
  • Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers
  • Prepare export documentation including: Commercial invoices, Packing lists, Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, AES/EEI filings, Letters of Credit documentation
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and destination country import requirements
  • Determine appropriate HTS classifications
  • Track shipments and resolve customs or transportation issues
  • Prepare customer quotations including freight, duties, and insurance
  • Build strong relationships with international distributor partners

Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000 - 55,000 per year depending on experience.
