About The Position

The Sales Representative supports the execution of sales strategies within assigned international and law enforcement markets. This role focuses on generating new business, supporting customer relationships, maintaining accurate sales pipelines, and assisting in proposal development to drive revenue growth for Norma Precision Inc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the defense or law enforcement industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws, ITAR/EAR regulations, and local firearms/ammunition laws.
  • Must be legally authorized to possess, handle, transport, and demonstrate firearms and ammunition and maintain eligibility to do so throughout employment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel domestic and international as required (able to secure a passport).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing business development plans to expand market presence across international and law enforcement channels.
  • Identify and engage potential customers including distributors, law enforcement agencies, and military contacts to support sales growth.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders including procurement contacts and industry partners.
  • Track opportunities, update CRM systems, follow up on leads, and support forecasting efforts to meet revenue targets.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, bids, and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Follow established guidelines related to international trade, ITAR/EAR compliance, and applicable laws with guidance from leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and pricing to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work with internal departments including marketing, logistics, and product teams to support customer needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend domestic and international range days, product demonstrations, training events, trade shows, and customer evaluations. Safely demonstrate firearms, ammunition, and related products to customers, distributors, law enforcement agencies, military personnel, and other authorized end users. Must be legally eligible to possess, transport, handle, and demonstrate firearms and ammunition in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and company policies.
