About The Position

The International Finance & Business Systems Analyst works closely with the Vice President, International to support financial oversight of the company’s international operations and to lead hands‑on business systems implementation initiatives. This role combines financial analysis and coordination across multiple international entities with direct responsibility for implementing new business systems as the organization transitions away from legacy platforms that are no longer supported. The position requires a practical, detail‑oriented professional who is comfortable operating across finance, operations, and systems, and who can drive implementation work from requirements definition through go‑live and stabilization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance and/or accounting role, preferably within a multi‑entity or international environment.
  • Strong financial analysis skills with experience preparing and interpreting management‑level financial reports.
  • Experience working with external accounting firms, auditors, or financial advisors.
  • Hands‑on experience with business system implementation, including requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and deployment support.
  • Working knowledge of process mapping techniques and documenting end‑to‑end business workflows.
  • Comfortable working with technical system concepts and collaborating closely with vendors or implementation partners.
  • Ability to bridge finance, operations, and systems, translating business needs into clear, implementable solutions.
  • Intermediate to expert level Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Practical and solutions‑focused, with a willingness to work hands‑on through implementation challenges.
  • Comfortable operating in environments undergoing system change and modernization.
  • Collaborative and able to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and insight for the company’s international entities, including review of monthly results, trends, and variances.
  • Prepare consolidated international financial reporting on a monthly basis for internal management and leadership use.
  • Act as a point of coordination with international accounting firms, supporting statutory reporting, local compliance, and ongoing accounting matters.
  • Support periodic financial reviews, assessments, and ad hoc analysis related to international operations.
  • Manage and administer the company’s international credit insurance policy, including reporting requirements, limit monitoring, and coordination with insurers and brokers.
  • Support continuous improvement in international financial processes, reporting consistency, and documentation.
  • Lead hands‑on implementation of new business systems, from requirements definition through configuration, testing, and go‑live support.
  • Work directly with business users and functional leaders to gather, document, and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain current‑state and future‑state process maps, ensuring alignment between business needs and system design.
  • Act as a primary business owner for system implementation activities, coordinating closely with software vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into practical system configuration decisions and implementation approaches.
  • Participate actively in data preparation, migration planning, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity during system transitions.
  • Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, working hands‑on with end users to validate system functionality and usability.
  • Support change management activities, including documentation, training materials, and end‑user support during rollout.
  • Identify implementation risks, process gaps, and dependencies, and work proactively to resolve issues.
  • Support post‑implementation stabilization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
