About The Position

The Internal Export Coordinator is responsible for loading and unloading goods, determining loading procedures, staging orders, working with USDA (when applicable) and checking product for loading accuracy. This role requires availability for emergency/urgent requirements outside of normal business hours, and international and/or domestic travel may be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience with loading and unloading trucks preferred
  • Forklift Certification Required – Compliance on re-certification every 3 years
  • Must be able to be contacted in case of emergency

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Determining loading procedures
  • Staging orders
  • Working with USDA (when applicable)
  • Checking product for loading accuracy
  • Assisting Exports Supervisor with day-to-day responsibilities
  • Setting up appointments for USDA inspections
  • Pre-staging international orders for both USDA inspections and ocean container loading
  • Completing load manifests and B/L's for export orders shipping out
  • Contacting suppliers for required export documentation, follow-up as needed to ensure load dates stay on schedule
  • Effectively communicate with QCCFL and Export Ops regarding international specific products and their respective inventories
  • Coordinate with QCC Distribution Management and Centralized Inventory Management teams to ensure the cost effectiveness of international shipments (both inbound and outbound)
  • Update and maintain internal databases for quote/order tracking (DSR), demand planning & replenishment (DPR) and warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Notify franchisees of changes/issues with product orders
  • Quote/order entry in Peoplesoft
  • Respond to emergency/urgent requirements outside of normal business hours
  • International and/or domestic travel may be required
