About The Position

The purpose of the role is to establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It serves as the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success. The role involves managing client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance. It requires supporting the analysis of data to identify trends and insights, researching client industries and regulatory landscapes, and designing customized solutions. The position also involves communicating the value proposition of proposed solutions, negotiating terms, providing guidance on financial decisions, assessing risks, documenting interactions, and monitoring client satisfaction and revenue generated. As a Vice President, the role contributes to strategy, drives requirements, and makes recommendations for change. It involves planning resources, budgets, and policies, managing policies and processes, and delivering continuous improvements. If managing a team, the VP defines jobs and responsibilities, plans for the department's future needs, counsels employees on performance, and contributes to pay decisions. They may also lead specialists to influence department operations, aligning with strategic and tactical priorities while balancing short and long-term goals and ensuring budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. For an individual contributor, the VP is a subject matter expert, guiding technical direction, leading collaborative assignments, and training less experienced specialists. The role involves advising key stakeholders, managing and mitigating risks, demonstrating leadership in risk management and controls, and collaborating with other areas of the business to stay aligned with business strategies. Solutions are created based on sophisticated analytical thought, and in-depth analysis with interpretative thinking is required to define problems and develop innovative solutions. The VP will build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance
  • Support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs.
  • Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank.
  • Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies support, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
  • Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implementation of measures to minimise potential losses.
  • Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the overall bank strategy.
  • Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.
  • Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.

  • Guide and grow relationships with large corporate clients in the Subsectors within the Broker Dealer and related Market Infrastructure sector include: Securities and Derivatives Exchanges, Central Counterparties (CCPs), Retail and Wholesale Broker Dealers (BDs), Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), Proprietary Trading Firms / High Frequency Traders (HFTs).
  • Serve as the primary client interface, delivering strategic financial solutions across lending, risk management, and capital markets, while coordinating with product teams globally.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, develop deep understanding of client strategies, capital structures, and operating environments.
  • Maintain regular interaction with senior client stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, FP&A leads and drive client engagement and identify opportunities to expand relationships.
