About The Position

Freshfields US LLP is seeking an associate to join our International Arbitration practice in our Washington, D.C. office. Our International Arbitration group is globally recognized for representing multinational corporations, sovereign states, and state-owned entities in complex, high-stakes disputes under major arbitral rules. Associates work closely with partners and colleagues across offices worldwide on cutting-edge cross-border matters. The practice offers a dynamic and globally integrated platform, providing associates with early responsibility, meaningful partner interaction, and exposure to sophisticated international disputes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience including prior experience in international arbitration.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience at a leading law firm or arbitration practice.
  • Native or strong Spanish language skills in addition to having full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Admitted to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
