About The Position

Bowhead is seeking an International Acquisition and Engagements Specialist for an upcoming effort in the Fort Meade, MD area. This is a key position supporting the International Acquisitions and Engagements Branch, providing analytical, operational, and technical services for the planning and execution of the Government’s international acquisition activities in support of DISA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Program and Financial Management with cost, schedule, and performance responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with International Acquisition, Security Assistance, and/or Security Cooperation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite or equivalent applications.
  • One of the following certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Program Management Security Cooperation Workforce Level II.
  • Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
  • US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pre-engagement, day-of logistics, and post-engagement activity for DISA international partner forums and foreign official visits to DISA HQ.
  • Adhere to all applicable DoD and DISA policies, including ITAR and Foreign Disclosure approval requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze activities of international organizations to identify strategic engagement opportunities for DISA.
  • Record meeting minutes, noting all decisions and action items for Agency International Engagements, International Acquisition review and planning meetings.
  • Track the progress of all action items and report any delays to appropriate Government personnel.
  • Maintain and update the agency database of international visits information and relevant international affairs information via designated portal.
  • Maintain an organized record of all meeting materials (agendas, presentations, minutes, etc.) within the designated site.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports on the Agency’s international activities, both internal and external to DISA HQ.
  • Conduct monthly audits to recommend compliance improvements for DISA’s international acquisition activities.
  • Archive materials in accordance with DISA’s records management policies.
